imagination points to all we might yet discover and create"
A school is always a 'world in miniature', where one receives a training foe life, where effective, meaningful and joyful learning takes place. It is here that we begin to learn our Lessons of life - to accept challenges, face competition, defeat and failure and rejoice at victory and triumph.
Here in Columbus our motto is "to learn, achieve and inspire." We believe in an effective child centric education that concentrates on all round development of body, mind and spirit. It is a matter of pride and joy that the pens of our students have found expression once again through their thoughts and ideas and outcome is current issue of ' Swayam - An-Effort.'
We want our pupils to develop valuable life skills and become more independent, resilient and confident individuals. Our team of qualified and experienced teachers has been specially trained to provide personalized attention to every student.
Today, the role of education is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower students to be lifelong learners critical thinkers and productive members of an ever changing global society while academic excellence is our major thrust, the school is also devoted to prepare our students for life, groom them to face the challenges of tomorrow.
We at 'St. Columbus Global', mould the tender hearts of our pupils and inculcate in them the need and importance of knowledge. I hope they academic excellence, achievements of our students I diverse fields and incessant efforts of the staff would be duly highlighted in the current issue, and that the school magazine would also provide a glimpse of the varied curricular and co-curricular activities through which the school aims at developing the all round personality of the students.
It is not enough to see our children as empty vessels to be filled with facts, skills and knowledge. They are unlit fires just waiting for us to spark the touch and ignite an interest in thinking about how and why the world around them works. Individually and collectively let's work to serve the cause of education for the betterment of the coming generations.
